KMD Reflex High Performance Controller Thumb Grips – 4 Pack (PS4 / PS5) | KMD

• Pro-style textured surface designed to reduce thumb slip during long sessions
• Clip on fit – no controller disassembly required
• Compatible with DualShock 4 (PS4) and DualSense (PS5) standard analog sticks

Description

The KMD Reflex thumb grip pack is a straightforward upgrade for the standard analog sticks on official PS4 & PS5 controllers. Each pack contains four caps that push directly onto the existing stick, no tools or opening of the controller is required.

The pack mixes high-profile and low-profile caps. High-profile caps raise the stick height for more leverage in twin-stick shooters and racing games; low-profile caps keep things close to the controller for general play. You can run a matched pair or mix profiles between left and right stick to suit your preference.

The grip surface is textured rather than smooth, which helps keep your thumb planted during sweaty sessions. Because the caps are a friction fit, they can be swapped or removed at any time without leaving residue on the original stick.

Compatibility

• Sony PlayStation 4 DualShock 4 controllers (all revisions): yes
• Sony PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers: yes
• Sony DualSense Edge: yes
• Xbox, Nintendo Switch Joy-Con or Switch Pro controllers: no different stick geometry

Origin & Condition

• Condition: New (Aftermarket)
• Brand-new third-party thumb grip pack manufactured by KMD
• Sourced through verified channels

Worth it if

• Your existing stick rubber is wearing smooth and your thumb is starting to slip during fast inputs
• You want to try high-profile sticks for shooters or racing without committing to a permanent change
• You’d rather add grip with a clip-on cap than open the controller to replace the whole stick module

Probably not for you if

• Your underlying analog stick is drifting or unresponsive – caps add grip, not a fix for worn potentiometers
• You’re after a permanent-feeling integrated grip rather than a friction-fit cap
• You’re on a non-PlayStation controller – these are sized for DualShock 4 and DualSense sticks

What’s in the box

• 4 x KMD Reflex thumb grip caps (mix of high and low profile)
• One pack covers two controllers, or gives you a spare set for one

FAQ

Q: Do I need to open my controller to fit these?
A: No. The caps slide directly onto your existing analog sticks. No tools, no soldering, no disassembly.

Q: Will they fit my PS5 DualSense Edge?
A: Yes, they fit both the DualSense and Edge models.

Q: Are the four caps all the same profile?
A: No – the pack mixes high-profile and low-profile caps so you can choose your setup. You can run a matched pair on one controller or mix profiles between left and right stick.

Q: Will these fix stick drift?
A: No. Drift comes from worn potentiometers inside the stick module. These caps sit on top of the stick and add grip, they don’t change the sensor underneath. For drift, you’d need a stick module replacement or a drift-fix PCB.

Q: Can I take them off again later?
A: Yes. The caps are a friction fit and pull off without leaving residue on the original stick.

Q: Will they work on an Xbox or Switch Pro controller?
A: No. The caps are sized for the PlayStation stick shape. Xbox and Switch Pro sticks have a different geometry and the fit isn’t reliable.
